HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Its my baby's birthday (16th May). She's 1 (or 15 dog years)!!! i made her a doggie cake from pumpkin and sweet potato which she LOVES! my godma and family celebrated her birthday and she got so super excited she blew off the candle by running into it. i would have made a nicer looking cake with frosting if didn't have a headache. But she didn't care... she's ate it and i'm happy :)

Two weeks ago i made another dress for little girl... this time i made it for my bunny's (bf if you don't already know) niece, Chloe. its the second time i made this dress and i must admit, second time round is much much easier... and i also managed to polish up my "workmanship"on this second piece of dress. Loving how cute she looks in it and how it fits perfectly.

on that same day, Chloe meets Princess Sophea Belladonna (or Sophie for short) for the first time. it was the cutest moment! Sophie being a spoilt princess actually gave in to Chloe. to my amazement, Sophie was very very patient and tolerated all the tugging and hugging and pushing.

At the end of the day, both were happy and i was happy the dress fitted and looked really cute!

i had my first cheerleading performance with Bullets Allstars this monday. It was  a paid performance for the launching of the new Watsons in MidValley. We had less than a week of practice and choreography for the 3 minutes performance and it went well. no one fell and nothing went wrong YAY!

One problem we had was that we didn't have enough cheer skirts for all the performers and i was feeling quite ambitious. so instead of the team looking weird on stage with two different sets of cheer skirts, the only solution for such short notice is to sew another 3 pairs of cheer skirts MYSELF!!! although i have never really sewn a cheer skirt before and there was no instructions online, i studied the actual skirt and... CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! 

Went material shopping with John, Ray, Ray's sis, KX, and Brenda in a mini Bullets outing. decided to make new bows as well (i know right like so ambitious.. and this was like 2 days before the performance). that night i made my first cheer skirt! finished the entire skirt in 3-4 hours at 5am! (happeee!!!)

despite having to practice and sew the skirt and bows, everything was complete! (and i'm pretty amazed by that) I was practically sewing till the very last second but it was all done...

and since i'm in a nice mood (cos i had TWO cups of Chatime... IKR! pig... oh well.. at least it makes me happy) imma make a tutorial on how to sew a cheerleading skirt in the next post! Yay me!

It's So Purdee Imma Die!!!

Finally got a new blog up and running... was gonna update my old blog and i totally epicly failed.... i forgotten where my blog was lol!!! (just realized it was on tumblr).

so anyway, i got this new blog up and running with really pretty layout which i took about 3 hours to complete... wheeee yay me! i actually made this blog cos my bunny (the bf) and few other people thinks i should blog all my art and craft stuff.... i thought it was a good idea.. only the thought of taking pictures and organizing my old art and craft stuff would be a MAJOR pain! but then procrastinating has brought me here.. supposed to work on my final year project/thesis...

since i've finally gotten myself a blog up and running for my artsy fartsy stuff, i have a rough idea what i would include in here... my drawings, scrapbooking pages, sewing/crocheting projects, cooking/baking projects, and some bits and pieces of random stuff i do in life. and.... if i'm nice (and am still blogging after 3 weeks) i might drop in some tutorials/instructions/recipe for some curious mind.

as for now, imma go get some sleep before the sun rises :D
